Chairman (Mr. Jonathan Tobin)
Mr. Jonathan Tobin is currently the Executive Director, Corporate Services in the Bank of Industry. He holds a degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension (University of Science Technology, Port Harcourt). He has also attended various seminars/workshops/conferences locally and internationally on aspects of Microfinance, SME Financing, Project Management and Agricultural Financing.
He is an Assistant Director (Development Finance Department) with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) prior to his current appointment and garnered experience in Relationship Management, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises project analysis, monitoring, loan and delinquencies management.
Mr. Okofu is a seasoned banker with local and international experience spanning over fifteen years. He has a B.Sc degree in Physics with honors from the University of Ibadan and an MBA (Management) from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. He also received a Master degree in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, Waltham/Boston Massachusetts-USA. He is a Hassenfeld Fellow and a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
His experience covers Core Banking Operations; Customer Service, Retail & Commercial Banking, Credit Analysis, Strategy & Execution, Marketing & Business Development, Operational Risk Management, Organizational Development and Business Management.
Mr. Abdul-ganiyu Mohammed is currently the General Manager and Divisional Head responsible for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Bank of Industry. He holds a B.Sc (Hons.) degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Ibadan and an MBA in Banking & Finance from ESUT. He has also attended various seminars/workshops/conferences locally and internationally on aspects of commercial/investment banking operations, management, leadership, and development finance, with emphasis on SMEs.
His experience covers Treasury, International Operations, Investments, Credits and SMEs. He was previously Head of Commercial Division, Zonal Manager, as well as Regional Manager at various times. He is a member Nigerian Society of Agricultural Engineers (MNSAE) and Associate member, Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM).
Mr Omar Shekarau (Director)
Mr. Shekarau Omar is a seasoned Banker and presently the General Manager and Divisional Head responsible for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME-NORTH) in the Bank of Industry. He holds a B.Ed (Hons.) degree in Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and M.Ed, M.IL.D in Administration and International Law & Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He has also attended various seminars/workshops/conferences locally and internationally on aspects of commercial/investment banking, management, leadership, and development finance, with emphasis on SMEs.
Prior to his present position, he was the General Manager, (Divisional Head) Management Services in the Bank of Industry and had a lot of experience in Human Resources Management and educational administration from different organizations. He was a Graduate Assistant in the department of Educational Administration in University of Lagos and Platoon Commander/Administration Officer in the Nigerian Army. He has produced research papers and published some books. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Society For Human Resources Management, Chartered Institute of Administration and Licensed Human Resources Professional.
Mr Ayo Bajomo (Director)
Mr Ayo Bajomo is a seasoned Banker and presently the Deputy General Manager and Divisional Head responsible for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME-SOUTH) in the Bank of Industry. He is very experienced in the financial sector has he has worked with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) , United Bank of Africa (UBA) and has a consultant at Andersen Consulting.
He is a graduate of the University of Lagos and Prior to his present position, he was a Lecturer at Lagos State University.
