Abdul-Ganiyu Mohammed retired as a General Manager in the Small and Medium Enterprises Directorate of the Bank of Industry in May 2018 after having served in various capacities for 26 years in the Bank and after over three decades as a Development Banker.

Abdul-Ganiyu was a member of various Management Committees in the Bank, presiding over:

• Management Contracts Committee,
• Micro Credit Committee,
• Ease of Doing Business Committee and
• The Staff Retirement Benefit Board of Trustees.

He served on the boards of Coleman Technical Industries and Abuja Steel Company and is currently a board member of the BOI Microfinance Bank, BOI Insurance Brokers and LECON Financial Services Limited.

He attended the University of Ibadan where he graduated in 1981 with a second-class upper division in Agricultural Engineering and in the year 2002 obtained an MBA (Banking and Finance) from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

He is currently the Founder and CEO of Willz-Boye (Investment & Development Advisers), a consultancy and advisory firm.
