Mr. Azuka E. Okofu ( Managing Director)
Mr. Okofu is a seasoned banker with local and international experience spanning over twenty years. He has a B.Sc degree in Physics with honors from the University of Ibadan and an MBA (Management) from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. He also received a Master degree in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, Waltham/Boston Massachusetts-USA.
He is a Hassenfeld Fellow and a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
His experience covers Core Banking Operations; Customer Service, Retail & Commercial Banking, Credit Analysis, Strategy & Execution, Marketing & Business Development, Operational Risk Management, Organizational Development and Business Management.
He is also an Assistant General Manager and Division Head of Bottom of The Pyramid at Bank of Industry.
Joshua Okorie – Head Credit & Marketing
Mr. Okorie Joshua is a Banker with Over 20 years Banking Experience. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Computer Engineering Option) and Msc Information Technology.
He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCB) and a Member of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS).
He has worked in various departments in financial institutions ranging from Information Technology (IT), Operations and he is currently the Head of Credit and Marketing.
Kufre Uwah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Calabar.
He has over 15 years banking experience. The experience spans across different competency areas including IT strategy development & implementation, project management, process review & design, network management & diagnostic, cloud computing, web design, database management and IT Security.
Kufre has attended several courses including Software development, Management & Business Performance Improvement, IT Security & Information Security, Risk Management and IT Frameworks.
He is a Certified Microfinance Banker with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
Yasir Ridwan – Head Audit
Ridwan is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Ilorin and Moshood Abiola Polytecnic. He trained with Olutayo Obadina & Co Chartered Accounts where he acquired audit & tax experience. He has also been trained by the Central Bank of Nigeria in post examination monitoring of microfinance banks in Nigeria.
Ridwan has about 12 years experience and currently working with BOI Microfinance Bank Limited (Subsidiary of Bank of Industry) as the Head, Internal control/Compliance unit.
On a professional level, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria,is an Associate member of Institute Chartered of Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a student member of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors U.K
Mr. Uzoma C. Amadi ( Head of Operations)
Uzoma Collins Amadi hold a B.Sc degree in Agriculture (Animal Science) from University of Ibadan.
He has over 12 years cross industry experience ranging from Telecommunication, Forex trading and Microfinance Banking.
Collins has attended several courses including Project Management, Health, Safety and Environmental Risk Management, Time Management & Personal Effectiveness, Operational Risk Management in Financial Institution, Customer Service in Microfinance and Business Analytics and other Capacity building courses.
He is a Certified Microfinance Banker with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and is currently the Head of Operations in BOI Microfinance Bank.
